For those of you who are approaching retirement, our eMoney software can help you to visualize what retirement will look like for you. eMoney allows us to run different scenarios that are specific to your situation. If you are currently retired and concerned that you might outlive your money, the software can dynamically show you how you are doing. Access to this software is included in your quarterly fee. If you are interested in getting together to review your retirement plan, give us a call. We would love to see you.

Several of you have called regarding the recent Equifax personal information breach. Our recommendation is that you should go to the Equifax website and check to see if you were affected. Equifax will require you to enter the last 6 digits of your Social Security number, but that is ok. In our digitally connected world, it is our opinion that it is only a matter of time until your personal information is stolen. Now is the time to take steps to protect yourself. The easiest option is to purchase a service such as LifeLock or Identity Guard. Another option is to place a credit freeze with each of the credit reporting agencies (TransUnion, Equifax and Experian). If you have questions regarding the best option for you, please give us a call and we would be happy to help.

We continue to look for ways to improve our service to you. Due to popular demand, we now have the capability to directly withdraw our quarterly advisory fee from your investment accounts. This is an opt-in service for you that we can implement for your January billing statement. If you are interested in us automatically withdrawing our advisory fee from your investment accounts, please contact us so that we can send you the prerequisite paperwork.

Sincerely,

Michael Cantlon
